Surviving Recession
The government reputedly agrees with the view a recession is close if not in full throttle otherwise why would the captain of the ship be ordering the life rafts employed with all haste. Reductions in outgoings – as people do not have as much to spend, many will be very careful not to spend unnecessarily and will only go out and buy things that they must absolutely have. Tax cuts – because of lower income levels and reduced value of the available money you have, the government attempts to assist people fiscal problems and also to help firms by giving people more cash so they can pay for goods they need to survive. They achieve this by giving back to individuals a percentage of their revenue in tax reductions. In this example, the government is cutting off the income that they get from people in order to stabilize the economy throughout the economic recession.
